Everetts Coppice

Everetts Coppice

Everett’s Coppice is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and as such, the rules must be followed when using the Coppice.

The Coppice is restricted to members of Fareham East and West Scout Districts but requests for use by local Guides Association are to be made to the Booking Secretary or the Management Committee, for permission at their discretion.

We hold a monthly working day at the Coppice in order to preserve its unique environment. Each Scout Group from the two Districts are asked to supply a few Adults on a rota basis. This is to undertake the work that is required at the time of year.

Booking Everetts Coppice

Directions

Drive to Funtley, past the Miner’s Arms, and carry on to the T-junction on the Titchfield to Wickham road. Turn right towards Wickham and after 3/4 mile, there is a large grass verge on your right as you head down hill. It is best to drive 100 metres past Everett’s Coppice where there is a place to turn round on your left.

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
