Fareham District Scout Band is a traditional marching band which is open to Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network and Leaders that are members of Scout Association. Membership to the band is open to anyone living in the local area, you do not have to be a member of either Denewulf District or Fareham West District. Unfortunately, due to the size of the instruments, and the rules of Scouting, it is not possible to accept Beavers or Squirrels into the band.

The band is available to book for any fete, carnival, parade etc just use the “contact us” form and we’ll get in touch with you to discuss your requirements. Alternatively, if you’re a leader and would like the band to come and visit your Beaver, Cub or Scout meeting and run a workshop, just contact us.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
