In Denewulf, there are a number of ways young people can access the huge range of activities Scouting can offer. These include the facilities of our two activity centres in conjunction with the talents of skills instructors in adventurous activities like climbing and tomahawks.
A group of scouters drawn from multiple Districts, predominantly Denewulf. They assist sections, Groups, and Districts with running adventurous activities throughout the year. These activities take place at our local campsite, Lyons Copse, but also at Scout huts and campsites across the County as requested (although they will need to charge more if we are going far afield)!

Fareham District Scout Band is a traditional marching band which is open to Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network and Leaders who are members of the Scout Association. Membership in the band is open to anyone living in the local area; you do not have to be a member of either Denewulf District or Fareham West District. Unfortunately, due to the size of the instruments and the rules of Scouting, it is not possible to accept Beavers or Squirrels into the band.
The band is available to book for any fete, carnival, parade, etc. Just use the “contact us” form and we’ll get in touch with you to discuss your requirements. Alternatively, if you’re a leader and would like the band to come and visit your Beaver, Cub or Scout meeting and run a workshop, just contact us through our website – https://www.farehamscoutband.org.uk/.
