Fareham Creek Regatta 2026
Over the weekend, 2nd Fareham and 3rd Portchester Sea Scouts enjoyed the Fareham Creek Regatta, organised with Fareham Sailing and Motorboat Club. The Scouts took part in a number of races, in coypus across two age categories and later, in gigs for the Oar of Fareham. Lots of medals were handed out at the end! Many thanks to the Mayor of Fareham for awarding the prizes.
Congratulations to 2nd Fareham for winning the Oar of Fareham this year! Well done also to Rhys and Lillian for achieving their Chief Scout’s Silver and Gold Awards respectively.
Thank you to all the volunteers who made this weekend in the June sun a huge success, particularly those working on the BBQ through the heat. Scouts’ adult teams both won Bronze in their races, too, so congratulations to them.
