Remembrance Day 2025

Date: 10th Nov 2025 Author: Jason Nash

Thank you to all those who came together today in Fareham, Bishops Waltham and across the District – as well as yesterday in Portchester – in many parades to remember those who gave up their lives and those who continue to serve so that we have the opportunity to live our own lives with freedom and democracy. Hundreds of young people attended and were brilliant at reflecting during the two-minute silence and the rest of the time on their feet.

A special thanks to all the Scout volunteers and other organisers who put in so much work to ensure these complex parades run smoothly. And, a particular well done to those young people who represented Denewulf to lay wreaths or carry flags on behalf of groups or the District – you were amazing!

You can find photos of the events in the Remembrance Day 2025 Gallery.
