Beavers

Beavers is for boys and girls aged 6 to 8 and are the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday and can move to Cub Scouts between 8 and 8½.

Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others as well as having Sleepovers. These are often the first time a young person spends a night away from home. They typically take place in suitable buildings, such as Scout Huts, but some groups do offer the opportunity to sleep in a tent.

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
